Our Junior Staff is a coaching development program for club level athletes to explore the opportunities & rewards of coaching youth sports.
It assists Club level players ages 17-21 in exploring a career in youth or human services, particularly in work with youth sport organizations. Our Junior Staff will prepare for future roles as human services professionals by participating & working in our club level programs.
To become a Junior Staff member*, players will need to complete an application, a brief apprenticeship and then an entry level US Soccer licensure course. FCSC has implemented this program as an investment in the development of our members who wish to learn, work & grow in other areas of the game.
*Players must have at least 3 years of playing experience at a competitive youth level, be at least 16 years of age to begin the apprenticeship & have a valid Viriginia driver’s license.
Junior Staff Members may assist our Volunteer & Staff coaches in the following programs.
